The original Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam franchise was created, written, and directed by Jeethu Joseph, who is renowned for his inventive storytelling. He is prepared to make this thriller-drama his next film in Hindi following the unheard-of success of Drishyam 2. The story of the movie centres on a brave, astute, and quick-witted member of the law enforcement community who sets out on a quest to pursue the truth and uphold justice in a crucial case with global implications.

The collaboration’s director, Jeethu Joseph, says, “I am honoured and pleased to begin on a new journey with this strong team after receiving so much love and respect for the ‘Drishyam’ franchise. I was looking for a subject with a compelling plot and underlying nuances that the audience as a whole could relate to for my next Hindi film. This script is ideal in every way since it speaks to every Indian’s heart. I’m glad to be able to display my movie on a platform with these two esteemed production companies, Junglee Pictures and Cloud 9 Pictures.

The CEO of Junglee Pictures, Amrita Pandey, said of the partnership: “We are overjoyed that Meenu presented such a fantastic story to us. We are beyond thrilled to collaborate with Jeethu Joseph on such a riveting tale that will leave the audience feeling inspired and energized. Meenu Aroraa, the founder and CEO of Cloud 9 Pictures, expresses her excitement about working with Junglee Pictures and Jeethu to bring this amazing story to the big screen. The screenplay by Jairaj Padmanabhan perfectly embodies our shared desire to make movies that engage audiences, make deep connections with them, and leave a lasting impression. We already had faith in the credibility of our tale, but Jeethu’s quick affirmation gave us even more faith. Junglee Pictures warmly backed the movie when I contacted them and explained about it and the director’s concept for it. I’m excited to collaborate with Raedita, Mamta, and the entire formidable Junglee Pictures team to realize the idea for our movie.

The creator of the Drishyam franchise, Jeethu Joseph, has denied all rumours that the main concept of Drishyam 3 has been decided upon and that the Malayalam and Hindi crews want to shoot the movie concurrently. He was adamant that no precise plotlines for the movies had yet been chosen by the production team.

Jeethu remarked in a statement to Cue Studio that the rumours that a suitable script had been found for Drishyam 3 were unfounded. No choices have been made as of yet regarding the project.

The rumours claiming that we are also actively considering outside stories and scripts for Drishyam 3 are untrue. Although Drishyam 3 is being considered, it is crucial to stress that the project will only move forward if we can create a narrative that complements its many elements, the director said.

I’m definitely considering Drishyam 3, and I’m striving to make it a reality. I haven’t quite gotten to the point where I feel secure enough to start composing its script, though. As a result, neither the beginning of its filming nor the strategy we will employ have been determined with certainty.

Therefore, no decision has been made regarding the potential for the movie to shoot concurrently with another project (the Hindi remake of Drishyam 3),” claimed Jeethu.
